Sry To Ask But ???

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE 98 or 98.5 its a 24 valve
is it the same lug pattern as a 04
lookin to
buy an older truck
goin from 3rd gen to 2nd gen

A 98 will be the sough after 12V and the 98.5 is a 24V.

01.5 put in disk brakes in the rear (big +++ in my book)

Look for 53 blocks and stay away, some have cracked. Look drivers side for the casting on the block.

VP's are known to fail and expensive to replace but I still love my 02.

If it looks good with reasonable mileage. Go for it.

Post back with what your looking at.
