Spicer U-Joints

looking to get the best Ujoints for my truck put some in about a year ago and it still clunks going in to D and R and when I let off the peadal on the highway. So my question is the spicer greasable say that they are for a 7290 drive shaft so is that what I have? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Spice...spagenameZWD1V

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
U joints may not be cause of your clunk. Diff backlash and tran/transfer are more likely causes. May be in the range of reasonable to expect at 140K. Is the engine idling higher than normal by any chance?

No not ideling any higher than normal, but if I grab my drive shaft and twist it left and right it turns about a half inch both ways from the trans to the rear end. Don't think thats good right?

Be sure the slip yoke on the drive shaft is greased really good. If not, it can cause the clunk you hear.
