I know the answer to this is already in here but I can't find the post. Someone posted that Auto Zone has/had the correct lube on sale for $6.50/qt. I need to know the name of the lube so I can go check my local Auto Zone. Also, I plan to remove the PTO cover to drain and clean the magnet. Put it back on with black sealant and add 5 qts. Sound about right? Haven't quite figured out how to add the lube thru the top PTO hole but I imagine it will become clear once I get going on it.

 

valvoline manual transmission lube, i have used it before... it's the same as the oil you get from the dealer. i think it's a synthetic
put it in the top of the trans, it is easy to remove the plastic consol and the shift tower
