shock suggestions

I am looking at changing all the shocks on my 01 and would like some recommmendations from who ever has some input. I am changing steering stab shock too. My truck has a leveling kit on the front stock in rear. Have 285 75 16 tires on it. Any info would be great thanks Garry.

Do a search for shock threads and you'll find all the debated info you can stand to read. Shock threads are like oil threads.

I agonized about it for awhile with my truck and settled on Monroe Reflex shocks. Got a decent price from Rockauto.com, and was real happy with the service, especially having them sent to Canada. The ride is as soft as stock but the control feels good. I didn't really want a shock that would stiffen it up a lot.

This is what I'm really interested in doing. I have rancho shocks right now and want a smoother ride, but I don't know what to base them off of considering they have been on the truck since I've owned it.

I like the adjustability of my Rancho 9000's. Soft if I want and firm if I want.

I just install Bilstien 5100's and really like them. The ride is a lot smoother than the Gabriels that were on the truck when i bought it..
