I just changed my front shocks in my truck and i put in the Yellow Gas-Magnums.....Parts dude said they were heavy duty for towing (which i do) If i push down on my front end a few times and let go , it still bounces 3-4 times before settling....Did i buy a crappy shock? Suggestions?

 

I would take them off. I have the same ones and they are VERY stiff. Maybe you got a bad batch?

 

yup sounds like a bad batch its not suppose to be that easy to push down.

 

I showed the parts girl, and she said it didnt look right....take em off/ return them. Whats the chances of getting 2 bad shocks? Maybe my front springs have weekend?

 

The springs would have strengthened if they continued to bounce with new gas shocks. Maybe wrong part #?

I would return them and get some Bilsteins, about $60 each. They are prefrred by many. They may even be sold by some suppliers here.
The diffrrence in the ride is incredible.
