Sanding Ends of High Pressure Fuel Lines Really Works!

I had a leak, at the pump end, from the #6 fuel line. Tried reconnecting it twice, removing the line clamps and even disconnecting the other end of the line so as to be able to freely move the line for alignment when tightening it down. Didn't help with the leak.

I ordered a new line at $100.xx Cdn and then did a search of this forum on leaking injection lines and came up with mention of sanding line ends. I cancelled the order for the new line and sanded the end of the line with fine sandpaper (200 grit). I had the other end of the line disconnected and I blew clean the line with compressed air and hooked it back up and, no more leak!

BTW, I have had the Walbro on for a couple of years and it is running flawlessly. I highly recommend the Walbro (GSL392)
