rv 275's

Hello guys, with the price of fuel what it is today, I've been thinking of installing some different injectors (stock now), do you see much change in mileage with the rv 275's? Power would be good too. Is it ok to ask where you like to get them?

I havent finished a full tank of fuel with mine yet, so i cant report on mileage.
I have noticed a slight increase in power.

Where ever you get them I would make sure they are genuine Bosch. I bought a set of generics and they were no good. There are other folks that have posted the same sentiment about the generics. As far as power and mileage I can't really compare since I upgraded my VP and turbo at the same time. But my idle is smoother and of course the truck is faster.....

not to impede, but I also would like to know where you guys are getting your RV275's. I think that's the next thing to come after a better fuel system. I don't have the money for a FASS setup, so is there any good setups to mount on the frame rail and still use the factory fuel filter. Since i added the Power Puck, my fp has dropped back down to about 7-8 psi cruising and i can pull it down to 4 psi at WOT.

You can install a Big Line Relocation kit from Vulcan that will run you $114. Here's the link: http://www.vulcanperformance.com/ser...er-Pump/Detail

The thing is though, you'll still using the stock lift pump, which will now be down on the frame. You'll probably only see a few psi more than you see now. But it could work for you. It did for me for quite some time. At idle I was seeing about 14 psi and at WOT I'd get down to 4 or 5 psi.

I ended up upgrading to a better system. I got myself a Raptor 100. For the money ($369), you just can't beat it. Here's DTR's link: http://store.dieseltruckresource.com/putein.html

Now I did get mine through a different source who did not charge shipping. But I'm not sure if that deal is still going.

Thanks for the help. After looking around some more, do you think the rv275's are a good thing for a stock engine or would you suggest something else? Not much money to play around with. Thanks again

Personally, I think RV275's are an excellent upgrade for a stock motor. A lot of people, including myself, feel that RV275's should have come from the factory already in these motors.

RV-275's

Go with the RV-275's I got better fuel milage and had more power such as it was. The 300's dropped fuel milage 2 or 3.
