retorquing fatory headstuds

retorquing fatory headstuds

any tips, pointers, or horror stories about breaking studs off in block?

do i need arp lube or can i use motor oil if so what weight?

torque to 105 foot lbs then 90 deg? is this right.

also do i start in the center like when doing aftermarkets studs.

thanks id like to do this as soon as possible

Factory uses bolts.
Retorque by just pulling them to 115 Ft. Lbs.
If any feel soft they are streching, replace those.

so i dont need to pull them out and put lube on them? just torque em?
