Question Rear spring question

Intstalled Skyjacker D25's last February and truck still sits about 1 inch taller in the front. I need to do something to get it leveled out. I later learned that trucks without the 'camper package' (like mine) sit lower in the back from the factory. This is why I hear everyone with the 'camper package' say it levels it out perfectly. Is there a difference in the spring packs between the two that causes mine to sit lower? Mine has 4 springs in the pack and has no overload spring on top. The block is the same height as the 'camper package' trucks. Should I just put an add-a-leaf in or look for a 'camper package' leaf spring pack from someone who has taken them out? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg to get it leveled back out.

I have the camper group option, and I am pretty sure I got 2 extra springs and a spacer back there over a truck not equipped with that package. Roughly an inch....

I just went out and checked my springs and block. There are 4 springs in the pack and the block is 4 3/4" tall. Can someone with the 'camper package' look at their springs and block and tell me what you have? Thanks in advance. Mark

Mark,

my 3500 dually with camper package hs 4 ea. 3/8" (?) thick springs + contact overload.

The camper package also includes a rear anti-sway bar.

OK I just checked mine. It has 4 springs, then a 1" spacer and one overload spring. The block is 5" tall. It's not in my sig, but it has the camper special. HTH

rfcom,
Where exactly is the 1" spacer you mention? Does it add to the height? I don't see one on mine. And your block is really 5" tall? Mine is 4-3/4" tall. I really need to figure this out before I make a decision on an add-a-leaf or camper package leaf pack.

The 1" spacer is between the main spring pack and the overload spring. It does not affect the height as this is set by the height of the block only. The block is just a bit under 5", maybe 4-7/8". I'll take a picture if needed.

Thanks rfcom,
No picture needed. It's minute if it is 4-7/8". I'm thinking maybe the whole spring pack is arched more on the camper package compare to my non-camper package truck. Somebody must know the answer...I hope.
