Rear axle question

I was looking at the eqipment tag in the glovebox. For my rear axle it said "3.55 anti-spin differential" I understand the 3.55 part. I don't understand anti-spin. Does that mean I have a Limited Slip? feels like a LS especially going around turns. Any information would be appreciated.

Re:Rear axle question

The sticker in the glove box should say 3.54 not 3.55 and if you have the LS diff you will see a tag on one of the differential cover bolts that states this. Also you can jack up both back tires and spin one (by hand) and if the other spins in the same direction the you have LS. If it spins in the opposite direction then you dont.

My invoice says 3.54, but glove box says 3.55.

Mine also says 3.55 in the glovebox, and 3.54 on the sticker that was on the window when new. The anti-spin differential is also listed as an option on both.

Re:Rear axle question

If you counted gear teeth and devided them out you would probably come out somewhere between 3.54 and 3.55 which is rounded out to the listed numbers. So depending on who did the fuguring, they are probably both right. I have also heard that the smaller rears have a slightly different count.
