Radiator Removal Time Frame

Anyone have a general idea about how long it will take to remove a radiator from a 2002 3500 automatic? I want to pressure wash the radiator to get the crap out of the cooling fins.
Thanks,

Id say it depends on your skill level and how patient your are at getting the coolant out first.

Pull the drain plug and fill up a 5 gallon bucket (connect a piece of tubing to the drain plug)
Unhook the rad. hoses
Im not sure if you have to pull the washer resivoir or not. (I did pull the resivoir)
I believe its four bolts for the fan shroud
Then 2 bolts for the radiator itself
Then pull up. (watch out for leftover coolant in the rad.)

I think thats it. I just pulled mine Friday to clean it up. Probably took an hour to get it out working slowly and waiting for the coolant to drain out.

Correct me if Im wrong but I believe thats about it.

Hope this helps.

After you clean it get sum stainless steal mesh(the stuff for screen doors) or just the black rubber stuff. Put it front of rad, keeps bugs and junk out and helps to keep fins straight. I like the look of the stainless steal behind the grill but either stuff works, the steal is stronger and well last longer.
