Please help 47RH issues

Alright guys I have an 02 24 valve with a swapped 47RH rebuilt by Certified Transmissions that was done before I bought it. Trans was put in in June of '14. TC lockup and OD are wired on switches. I have been driving it daily for about a month with no issues but yesterday it seemed like it would downshift into 1st alot sooner than normal when slowing down. This morning I leave for work and it will not shift past 1st. I move the shifter into the 2nd position and it just freewheels. Just stays in 1st no matter the rpm. Fluid is full and still red. I will be checking TV cable adjustment when I get home but in the meantime any ideas on what this could be? Thanks for anyone that can help. I rely on this truck daily.

I would suggest you go down to the first gen forum and PM Member Angry Johhny with this question. Tell him I sent you. He makes his living working on Chrysler transmissions, and can get you close the first shot.

That being said, it isn't your TV adjustment, I am thinking more a band or a band strut failure. ( But I'm not that good on Torqueflites )

Thanks for the info man. I just tightened the TV cable 2 or 3 teeth and now its fine! Just for the sake of fine tuning the adjustment what rpms should I be looking at for 1-2, 2-3, 3-OD, and lockup shifts with 4:10s?

Another contributing factor is the fact that the previous owner didnt have the correct TV cable or at least not the right end for the throttle bracket. The part that is supposed to click into the throttle bracket is too small and won't go all the way through the hole. I secured it with zipties just to hold it for now.
