I need to put a clutch in my truck,and since its the only vehicle I have I need to be as sure as I can that I have everything covered.Its a long walk to work and the parts store.
It needs the front seal replaced as well. Does anyone have the part number for it? We have a bearing distributor local that can get almost any seal with a number for crossreference.
Also what sealer to use on the bellhousing and seal housing?
Any other words of "wisdom" from those who have been there done that?

Remember that the nv5600 is a heavy trans (over 500#) and you'll need a jack to help get it out and back in.

 

the 5600 is around 360 lbs, not 500, unless you are talking it and the tcase together. see if this link helps at all.
