No More Engine Squeak at Shut Off

Gentlemen,<br> I have 10,500 miles on my six month old 2002. ;D ;D ;D When it was new 8), it would squeak when I turned the engine off. Now, I don't hear the squeak anymore at shut down. Is it due to the cold weather or is she just getting broke in a little? Adios. 8)

Just the serpentine belt getting broke in more than likely. Enjoy the quiet.

Re:No More Engine Squeak at Shut Off

Hey Jonesy, I picked mine up on June 6th. I have around 10300 on it right now and it still squeaks, some days just more than others. It is sort of a status chirp and it causes people to wonder what is wrong with your truck ;D, unless they have a cummins themselves. It doesnt bother me but my wife always has something to say about it when it happens

That's why women were put on the earth - to bug you about your true love every chance they get. You should hear mine regarding the race cars.

The Cummins engine is just like a woman you can tell her to stop but she has to get the last word in or should I say squawk.
