my cousin has a 2002 24v 6spd 4x4..........and he was headed to work today it ran fine on the way to th parts store just before he went to work shut the truck off....came back out of the parts store and truck was not running right.....if you floor it it takes forever for the rpms to come up and then if its just running with nobody in the truck it will rev up by itself.....anything we should start with ....is that a tps problem a pump problem? i have a ve pump so i dont really understand these 24v

Check for codes by turning the key on/off three times. Leave on and look in odometer window to see what you have got and re-post.
