MAP Questions

I was checking my truck after I installed my new IP and noticed my map sensor was reading 15 lbs of boost at idle. so I ordered a new Map and IAT. replaced them both and the map still reads the same. checked connection's and cleaned. The truck runs fine. I just can't figure out whats wrong

If the map sensor's base reading is 0 (full vacuum), then 15 (14.7) would be atmospheric.

Just a possibility. Shooting in the dark.

Yep, I've noticed some scanners will display it that way. As I recall, Dodge's DRB III did not. It started at zero and went up from there. Nothing to worry about.
