lost all gauges (no bus) Dash is like an xmas tree
Ok. So out of the blue on my 2000 Ram2500 4X4 Diesel/Auto I lost all of my gauges. at first they came back then they would bounce around, but they are gone now. my Odom reads no bus. the only code I have is 1693. the last time this happened it was my lift pump failing. I imediatly parked the truck and I ordered and installed a Fass Pump. But upon start up after new pump, nothing has changed. the truck runs/idles/revs fine. but not one gauge is working. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I am having a similar issue, "no bus" on the odometer, "CCD" on my trip/temp/economy computer up above, intermittant guage performance, and the ABS and Brake light are on all the time.
Engine seems to run fine. Any help would be great! My local mechanic says I need a ABS module ("to start with...") but I don't buy it.

Check the plug for the instrument panel under the dash and make sure it is seated properly.
If that's tight, it might be a dead instrument cluster. It happened on mine years ago and had to be replaced.
