So lately my truck has been sputtering and sort of misfiring every couple of uses, I've gotten to the point to where I'll pop it in neutral and turn it off and turn it on again, and it'll run smoothly, itll throw the first two gears and the next two itll start that misfire, with a sort of limp pedal, the pedal is still there but its weak and itll only work if I push it hard. The vehicle will get me to 50 but knocking and sputtering, I had tranny problem with it in August, just a fluid change and a Lucas additive did the trick. Keep in mind it's a 47re. Any help will be appreciated, thank you for your time.

 

Fuel, diesels can't run without it. The transmission won't affect fuel delivery....VP44?, P7100, VE? More info please
