Customer had his 98.5 towed in, runs rough & lots of black smoke, says he just changed fuel filter. Seems he uses old undershorts for rags, he also serviced his air filter (which he failed to mention) and while it was out used his shorts for blocking the turbo from dirt while he blew out the engine compartment with air, and then forgot to pull em out before reinstalling the air cleaner Needless to say he was a little about the whole situation. The moral of the story is the title to this thread

I thought I had heard them all til today , had a RV cust. come in today, couldnt get his motorhome running. come find out he changed his own fuel filters and fill them with water cuz that what came out of the old filters

OK , I talk to the RV cust. and ask what he was doing , he told me that he wanted to change the fuel filters on the motorhomes and couldnt find any filters in the town he lives in , so he removed the fuel filters and wash both filters with water and tried to drain them out as much as he could and put them back on it took quite a bit to keep from laughing when I heard that
