intake temp sensor

In the past, i have read about removing the air temp intake sensor and cleaning the soot off of it. Does anyone have a picture of the said part, because i am uncertain as to where it is on my truck and dont want to remove anything that i really shouldnt. Thanks alot guys.

I clean my IAT senser at every oil change, it has soot on it every time, I think it has alot to do with the fact that I run an exhaust brake, after cleaning my mpg climbs about .5 and the truck idles alot smoother too. Its worth it so do it.

Cheers, Kevin
