Inj Pump Question

I have a 2002 HO cummins motor.

Are the Inj Pumps Different for HO eng vs non HO engine?

Assuming different IP

Are there PN's or just some model designation?

Can either be used on a HO engine?

Yes, they are different. I belive the HO pumps operate at a little higher output pressure. Not sure on how to identify them. I would imagine the ECM is different for each.

The last digits on the IP P/N for an SO was 027, and HO was 028. I've heard those are older numbers and have changed, but can be cross referenced.

Hot Rod VP44. Advertised gains of between 70-100 (can't say for sure how much I got because injectors went in at the same time), and will work on both the SO and HO. I got mine from Industrial Injection, but there are others out there. There are lots of threads on this. There were quite a few people putting them on the same time my pump went out.
