Idle Validation Switch Resistance.

In the course of troubleshooting my Starting and Stalling problem I checked the Apps and the On idle switch shows a resistance of about 40 ohms on a digital multimeter at closed throttle and key off, open circuit when throttle is depressed. The Off idle switch shows 40 ohms when throttle is depressed. I was expecting lower resistances, less than an ohm. Is the 40 ohm figure about right or is there something wrong with my APPS?

Idle/off idle

This is correct for them they make and brake at the same time. I have some of the scope graph of this on my readers rigs pic's. I can have grilfriend look some of this up or if you can wait till Sat shall be home and can look this up. She is Sick and Tired of this truck that I have and hates the sight of all the papers on it everywhere. But she will do it for me. There is a web site tuchoika diagnostika/vp44vp44 ( something very close to this is very interesting if you are looking at these things. Have this at home also. My signals are very dirty which is the reason for the truck not working the way it should be. This is from the FACTORY so not impressed.

Thanks Neveragain. I would love to see the scope traces of the Apps and any other info that you might have. That website you mentioned could not be accessed, could you post the exact address?
