how to wire pusher pump

how to wire pusher pump

about to do the install. so i am going to run the wire from the stock lp wire to a relay to the pusher. is this correct. if anyone has any wiring diagrams i would appreciate it. about to go to the parts store and start the install soon. thanks

From: Where hell freezes over.
Run your pusher pump wire from the hot wire on the lift pump to a relay, then let the relay run the pusher pump. Go to cummins and get the pigtail adapter for the lift pump that way if you have wiring problems later on you can just get another pigtail. It's alot better than splicing directly into the OEM wire. You can check which wire is hot by bumping starter and then use a test light.

With this setup you will eliminate the hard startup problems some have.

well install went well took about 2.5 hours. all electrical connection were made with connectors. the major ones were sodered. all were shrink wrapped. ran it off the lp harness to relay to fuse box to pusher. went well and i'm at 21.5 psi at idle and 16 psi wot. 19 to 20 psi on cruise.
