how to remove dana 70 rear key way lock on wheel bearing hub

how do you remove the rear wheel bearing key way lock for the wheel bearing nut? i cant get it to move and i see you have to replace it so i must have to destroy it to remove it huh?

I lightly pried mine out with a screwdriver. Wasn't hard at all. Could you tighten the axle nut to maybe relieve binding?

All the ones I've seen are just bent pieces of real light gauge steel. Put some pliers (or vice grips) on them and pull. Use the vice grips and a pry bar if its real stubborn.
