Greenwig I have some KYB shocks on my truck & they have been awesome to say the least. Mine probably have 240,000 miles on them, & still are a B$tch to press down & get back in place. I will get the part # if you want me too. I just recently added a 3 inch coil spacer to my truck & the stock shocks still work fine, but I do have a 300 lb Ranch Hand bumper that was pressing them down a little. I have replaced my track bar a couple of times & tierod ends at the same time. 292,000 miles on original ball joints & they are still tight & smooth. I don't know how. I have launched my truck in the air many times thru the years putting a lot of pressure on them, but they are still doing a good job. I would suggest going to NAPA Severe Duty or Ceramix brake pads, while you are messing with the front. The Ceramix are the best. You can actually buy a whole new(rebuilt) caliper with the pads in it than you can buy just the pads from NAPA. I don't know if that means the Caliper isn't worth a $hit or what, but I accidentily found that out. Good Luck with it. I say to heck with the Marriage, your truck will still be there long after she is gone. Get your priorities in order.
