I'm considering doing a turbo upgrade to the HX-40. I called Cummins and they told me they have 10 part numbers. Which one is the easiest to bolt on?

 

If it was me I wouldn't buy directly from cummins. If I'm not mistaken they don't do any modifications to the turbo. There are a number of compaines out there that make aftermarket turbos for what you want. I bought a piers HX40, they open up the oiling system to provide better lubrication. which inturn helps the turbo last longer. I would do your research on at least 3 turbo companies and pick one of them. My personal ones would be Piers, ATS and Talk to Rod at wildcat for thier quickspool turbo. What other mods have you done or do you plan to do in the future is a big question you need to ask yourself
