Post Help with 'no start' issue

Hello, I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 24 valve Cummins Diesel that I ran into a problem with over the weekend while hauling a trailor.
As I was driving down the road, it just died. As I rolled to a dead stop, I tried to start it again, and it did not start. It has battery power, I can turn the key and it will turn over and over as long as I hold the key in.
I towed it home and checked to see if it would give me codes on my code reader, since after it stopped the check engine light came on.
It gave me the codes as follows:
Code #1: P0251 Fuel Injection Pump, Fuel Valve, Feedback Circuit
Code #2: P1689 No Comm between ECM and injection pump module
Code #3: P1688 Internal Fuel Injection Pump Controller Failure
Code #4: P0602 ECM Fueling Calibration ERROR
Code #5: P0252 Fuel Injection Pump Fuel Valve Stuck
My Diesel has 130,000 miles on it, I checked all the fuses, and they are all good.
So, my problem is all the above codes. Does anyone have any insight as to where else I begin? I wouldn't normally need that much help with this, but it being a diesel, makes it a little more complicated. I'd rather research this first before I bring it into a shop. I am trying to collect this knowledge so I can see what I can do before I need a shop to help me troubleshoot this problem.
So, currently my diesel is out of commission sitting on a trailor....
Thank you for any helpful information!

Welcome.

Sorry to say this isnt good news and you probably dont need a shop to troubleshoot it.

Code #1: P0251 Fuel Injection Pump, Fuel Valve, Feedback Circuit
Code #2: P1689 No Comm between ECM and injection pump module
Code #3: P1688 Internal Fuel Injection Pump Controller Failure

You need a new injector pump (VP-44). Also very likely a new lift pump and a fuel pressure guage.

yes, just replace the injection pump. in all likelihood the electronics failed which is a common failure on the vp44
