Help with my rear end
I just returned from active duty and my truck remains broke from when I left it. I launched to hard at a pull two days before I left and broke the rear. I opened it up today for the first time and found the spider gears to be destroyed. I dont know whether to change the guts, or change the whole rear with a used one. I'm limited on funds so I cant upgrade to a dana 80 now. The tag on my rear reads like this-

Can someone fill me into what all of that means. I take it LS= limited slip and the 4 10= 4.10's which is in my glove box. Is this a dana 70? How much would a brand new internal setup be and would it be worth it, or should I find a used one and wait untill I can afford a dana 80?

I've been reading alot more into different options about lockers and different limited slips. Lockers dont usually have a good reputation for the street and I drive mostly street and just want to pull once a year for fun. Can I still run the locker for strength and be fine on the street or just go for a new posi unit. If I did just got with new LS unit which one.
