Help Fuel Leaks
I have replaced all of my banjo fittings with a big fuel line kit from diesel dynamics just about a year ago. just within the last month it started leaking around the fuel filter canister i have replaced all the seals and is still leaking what should i do. its not the lid of the canister either. thanks for any help
When ever I can't find a leak the first thing I do is clean the area really well with either engine degreaser or brake cleaner. Once your area is clean and dry, start the engine and get down there with a flashlight and try to follow the leak to where it starts. You either have a loose fitting somewhere, your fuel hose has a hole in it, or your filter housing is not sealing well. Hope this helps.
