Anyone have any recommendations on a good transmission shop in or around North Dallas? It's time for my truck to go in and get checked out.

I took it to a local shop a couple of weeks back thinking that it was a clutch (possibly pilot bearing) problem. They test drove it and came to the conclusion that it wasn't a clutch problem. They didn't drop the trans and check anything else out, since they said that they had no experience working with the NV5600.

I'm still not convinced that it isn't a clutch issue, but I'd like to have it somewhere that if they drop the trans and find that it's not a clutch problem, they can continue on and find the problem in the trans.

Any recs/suggestions are appreciated.

Not Dallas, but I'd go with Standard Transmission and Gear in Fort Worth, a few blks from Billy Bobs.
