Gauge Cluster Stopped Working

Gauge Cluster Stopped Working
My Buddy at work has a 1999 2500 4X4 Quad Cab Short Bed.......Around 70K miles. This morning he went to start it up and none of the gauges would work.....and the digital readout was saying "NO BUS" Any ideas or suggestions on where to look? Or what this code means????

Well, figured it out myself....removed battery cables and cleaned alll terminals and reconnected.....everything is fine now. So I don't know if that fixed it or if it was a coincidence.
