I have an auto trans. My PRND21 marker is not working when you use the column shifter The red needle is not broke. I don't know when it started this. Where do I start?

Pop off the cover on the steering column.
My guess is the "string" that moves the needle from the shift lever to the indicator is broken or needs some love.
It's a lame system but it works.
Good luck!!

Go to a junk yard and yank out the shift indicator out of another dodge and pop it in yours. Grab 2 while your there and I think it is a good idea while at the junk yard and having the cluster out take the light sockets out of the dash and put them in your pocket. Those things come in handy if you ever change your dash lights.
