Funny rough idle?

So being new to working on my 24v I cant seem to figure out why my truck idles really routh at idle when the fuel gauge shows an eighth of a tank and the fuel light starts to come on. Anyone know a fix for this or why?
Any other time over an eighth of a tank it idles great.

Sounds like you may have a fuel line or pickup problem could be sucking in some air.

Could also be gauge is not reading correctly and you are about out of fuel-it has happened before.

have you ever seen the inside of our fuel tanks when you have 1/8th of a tank. that is not much fuel at all 2-3 gallons over the length of the tank moving and sloshing around. even worse driving the truck on inclines and declines. your getting crud or air I would say. IMO i wouldn't let the fuel reach that far down.
