Fueling Problems?

Fueling Problems?
I just had an auxillary fuel pump installed and have noticed that it seems like under acceleration its sporatically not getting fuel. Its almost as if the truck is stalling. The engine goes almost completely quiet, and it lurches as if the clutch was let out too fast (but i have an auto tranny). Checked for codes, got nothing. no check engine light. In the process of installing the aux. pump, my fuel guage was disconnected. Thats everything I can think of. I'm completely stumped with this one
