Fuel Pressure fluctuation?

I have two Holley BLue LP on my truck... When I fist installed the second pump it jumped to 24 psi and stayed for a few days and then dropped to about 5... Now my Psi starts at aobut 12 and then slowly climbs AS I DRIVE to aorund 20 sometimes 21 psi and then settles..even WOT there a VERy slight drop in psi if any ... I expireienced no weakness from the truck and it never felt fuel starved... CAn anyone explain this ??? thanks, Awall

You might want to check the guage. Do you have a needle valve? If not you may have damaged the internals. Also if you have an isolater that may be the culprit. Ask anybody on this site about isolators, and they'll tell you exactly were they go, in the trash!!

I would check the needle valve as stated, you could always stretch the spring to get more psi

This is really common problem... The grid heater steals a lot of power. So all electrical equiptment sags a bit in perofrmance till the heater turns off. So yes the pressure will fall a few pound but pop up after your rolling and warmed up...
