Fuel Pressure Fluctuates

Fuel Pressure Fluctuates
After 180,000 miles and two VP's, i decided to install a fuel pressure gauge.
On both the in cab fuel pressure gauge and a guage connected to the inlet side of the fuel filter housing, the guage fluctuates about 2-3 psi. At idle it stays between 8-10 psi and does go up as RPM's increase. (it has a kit from Turbo Diesel in Phx. that senses the pressure from the pump and rpms from the apps) Has anyone run into this problem and found a solution.
I have a new Walbro 392 and a big line kit.
