Front brakes on 2002 2500 4x4.
Well I was having some tires put on my truck today and while all my wheels were off I inspected my rotors and breaks. I put a set of pads on the front about 10k miles ago due to fact that my pads had worn to the squeal tabs and were driving me nuts. Well I didnt turn the rotors and my brakes have just kept on squealing. I checked the rear brakes and they appear to be fine. Well I plan on doing this job right this time by either turning my rotors or replacing them and new hawk brake pads. My question is do my front rotors simply slide off once the wheel and caliper has been removed? It certainly appears so but I am not sure. And I guess while I am at it does the same apply to the rear disc brakes? I will pick up a service manual tomorrow but I figured I would start here first.
