Front axle disconect

Looking for info on a mechanical disconect at front axle while engaged in 4 low. I know of the vacuum switch modifications, but want to keep it mechanical.( Throttle cable) Where would such a cable attach?
Thanks Bill

There are a few aftermarket companies that offer such a kit....they are very inexpensive....I saw one from BDS and it was very well made and workeds great.
