Thumbs up Frantz oil filter

I just bought a Frantz oil filter off Ebay for $100, a $60 savings! I have wanted one of these for a while I just didn't want to pay full price cuz I am a cheap skate! I finally got my digital cam working so I will post install info for all of you mod maniacs.

Did he have more than one?

Most pre 1970 IH larger trucks came with a TP main oil filter.

I only saw one, but you can search it and see. Sometimes they only put up one at a time to avoid driving their prices down.

It hasn't gotten here yet, but I am looking at the oil cap for the return and one of the threaded holes on the oil filter housing. They have this self tapping fitting that you can install in your oil pan but I really don't like to do those kind of installs. I like to use bulk head fittings for that sort of thing. There is also a freeze plug on the passenger side rear that looks suspisiously like the turbo oil return, I might consider that if the parts can be had. We will see.
