Flush the trans cooler?

I've done a flush before with the transmission in place (5 gallon bucket/disconnected line method) but I'm putting in my new trans today and am wondering if there is any way (excepting the Hot Flush machine at a shop) to flush the cooler and cooler lines before putting the new trans in (old one is currently out). I haven't been able to find much information at all on any method. Should I just put in the new trans and proceed as I normally would with a flush?

Thanks for the help

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Many units have a theromstat bypass on cooler lines. sometimes it is a module between cooler lines and sometimes it is in a cooler. The cooler will have a module built on it the both lines go through. It takes a repair kit to service. Normal flushing will bypass cooler if not removed. See a FSM for more infol.
