hey i am looking for a diesel truck. i have about 15 grand to spend cant decide what year any pros to a 2001 vs a 03 common rail . is a common rail better ? oh and looking for a 4x4 .

 

03 real 4 doors but has the real epsensive injectors and lp. the other has lp and maybe vp issues and not real 4 doors. both have other issues that are minor. depends on your taste

 

i test drove a 2001 dulley has 113000 miles pretty clean has 4 inch exhaust and a edge ez . it was at a dealer they didn't even know it had the ez chip lol . is there a difference in power between the diff years i plan on doing a intake and quadzilla adrinalline . to either what ever i buy . i plan on towing about 8000 pounds would a 2001 tow that ?

Check to see if it is the 53 block.
It will pull 8000#
