exhaust brake will it work

exhaust brake will it work

Came across a banks exhuast brake for a 93 would it work on my 01. Also what would be a fair price for it ???

I can't say for sure why it won't work. It just won't. You can only get one for a 24v or for a 12v. Since yours is a 24 you need a 24. The 93 is a 12v and won't work for your truck. Not sure why, I am sure that someone will jump in here and explain why.

have a 2000-2500/24 valve, 5spd with mopar/jake brake.<br>tow 28' 5th wheel- love that jake! It does work.

Why won't a brake for an older truck work on the 24v? Anyone one know the answer to that one? I thought they were the same in terms of the exhaust size etc.
