Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my Cummins. I started it up the other day, after it had been sitting for about 4 months through our cold Alberta winter. The weather was fine, about 0 deg. C. Warmed up ok, was idling well. When I first took off it was really smokey, and stalled about 500m down the road. Started up with no problem. Carried on for another 5 kms, then it stalled again. Restarted OK. Got to a highway and tried to get some speed up, could feel the engine lagging and cut out, then would kick in again while still coasting. Seems like its not getting fuel. Limped it home with it kicking in and out the whole way. Had the fuel filter replaced about 9 months ago after it stalled once, and it was good. Any thoughts on what I should be looking at next?
Truck is a 1994 RWD reg. cab long box. 5spd
