Alright, i have procrastinated enough, i need to replace the electrical cord that runs to the block heater and no dealership has one that is close by, nearest one is in hagerstown md. Is there something else that i could try? Any way i can cut off the end and replace it? The male end is fine, but the female that goes into the element is shot. I have already replaced the heating element.

 

Internet order. Ebay is one place. Geno's another. Cheaper than dealer anyway.

I think you can find replacements on ebay.

 

I just bought one through Geno's last week. They want $13.95 for it while my local dealer wanted $58 for the same cord. The one Geno's sells is made by fleetguard, I imagine that the one the dealer sells is the same but with a Mopar sticker on the package.
