does anyone know the difference between the california ecm/pcm and the federal ecm/pcm

 

Kalifornia gets EGR, CCE and full emissions - we get a soot trap and a crankcase vent tube - that's in 'flash'

 

this is a 99 im sorry i didnt state that.....

 

Look across the top of the engine for the EGR plumbing - look under the truck for the no vent tube - that stuff is Kalifornia standard since the early 12v - PCM is flashed to operate the control solenoids as required for that emissions stuff
