Ecm
Are these just takeoffs, or do they refurb them somehow?
My big concern if my ECM starts going south is that any replacement ECM I find will likely be just as old as mine. I'd consider myself lucky if I could find one from a totalled truck that had relatively low miles.
If SIA Electronics refurbs them to some degree, that would be wonderful.

I have several 24v ECMs from trucks I have driven over the years and parted.
I do not believe I have any 6 speed H.O ECMs left. The 6 speed trucks use a different ECM than all the other 24V motors.

The repairs involve breaking them open and touching up the electronics. Once they are pried open and bent back closed they can become not waterproof....remans usually can only be attempted once, then the case is compromised. It's a ridiculous book shape with the one side bent over and the other 3 sealed.....there's a good youtube video on it...
Bellingham FB marketplace has a guy selling used ones off wrecked trucks occasionally......
