I will be installing an edge ez on my truck within the next few months and was wondering if anyone has dyno'd a truck similar to mine (edge ez, automatic tranny, no resonator or muffler). If so, what were the HP and Torque numbers and how would those numbers translate to HP and Torque numbers at the flywheel like they are rated from the factory? I think that the ez claims 65 hp and 185 lbs torque at the rear wheels, so wouldn't that number be significantly higher at the flywheel? Just curious. Thanks.

 

Diesel Dave. Check with Diesel Dude 4x4, and Cattle Hauler. Now they dont have auto tranny. They were <br>within one hsp of each other, and the torque was about equal also. I will check the BMD Dyno day pictures. They had the board and a pic of<br>it. Get back with ya in a minute. 8)

 

My '99 w/ stock auto and stock exhaust, and K&amp;N filter dyno'ed at:
189hp-379tq without Box
221hp-467tq with Box.
This is with a Comp box and no pump wire so it acts like an EZ on level3.

 

Ok Here we go.<br><br>Cattle Hauler 230 523<br>Dieseldude 4x4 wo/ez 193 383<br>Dieseldude 4x4 w/ez 227 536<br><br>Now these number are as follows: Cattle Hauler just had a SB fe put in the night before, and he runs the BHAF.<br>Dieseldude 4x4 runs the factory air box with Kand N filter. <br>Cattle Haulers dosen't have a heat shield either.<br><br>Hope this helps some. Not for sure about the Auto Tranny.<br> 8)

 

No K&amp;N, mine is a stock air filter.
