I have a 2001 Dodge turbo diesel Auto with 60,000 miles. The truck at 1500 rpm speeds20 to 55 mph will surge between 1500 up to 1700 rpm like its trying to downshift but the up down time is very rapid-like 1-2 seconds.To stop it I just step on the gas it downshifts and every thing is fine> It can happen in cruise ,od, non overdrive,and any speed up to 55 mph.Never above this speed> I took it to aodge dealer ,they contacted Dodge but no fixes are in the mill but they are aware of the problem. Any suggestions????
