dana 70 posi

ok i not familer with this but i popped the cover of the rear the other day to change fluid and i was told that i had a chrysler posi unit instead of limited slip and this was a expesive option and rare. i was just wondering if this is true and how many people actually have this option thanks

A "posi" is a limited slip unit. It's actually a GM brand of limited slip--they called theirs positrac. I don't know for certain, but I'm thinking that the Dodge factory limited slip is a Trac-lok. If you have a Dana 70 rear end, the Powr-lok is a better unit.
