Converter Lock Up Problem?

Converter Lock Up Problem?
I have a 99 diesel that seems to lock then almost immediately unlock the TC at 55 and up. Change in rpm is only about 200 according to the tach. I found no codes stored. Any ideas??

Gave my batteries a good cleaning and reset the APPS (simple procedure) and it works just fine. Thanks everyone for the valuable information!!
